Miss Almacrest 2008

The search for beauty, talent and intelligence, aptly named Miss Almacrest 2008 was staged recently at Hall 8 of Center Point’s Growball, Funsquare, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

Fourteen equally confident and gorgeous ladies of AlmaCrest International College competed for fabulous prizes and the chance of a lifetime to be crowned as Miss Almacrest 2008. Among the 14 hopefuls, Anna Ivanovna B. Villamor, a Leisure Management student, bested other 13 candidates from different courses and intakes succeeding Amesheeba JSP Sieferd – Miss Almacrest 2006. Aside from the title, she also bagged the Peoples’ Choice subsidiary award as well.
While Babyrin L. Alih, a Retail Management student, ranked first runner-up and won the best in fantasy attire special award. Next in line is Kristy G. Tocao, a Leisure Management student, who took the second runner-up spot and brought home three subsidiary titles: Miss Photogenic, Miss Beautiful Hair and Miss Beautiful Skin. Third runner-up award went to Arnepha S. Abdussalam, a 17 year old stunner currently taking up Diploma in Leisure Management. Aside from the major award, she also won seven other special and subsidiary awards such as: Best in Talent, Best in Teens’ Wear, Best in Traditional Attire, Best in Long Gown, Miss Beautiful Smile, Miss Marie France Bodyline (Beautiful Body) and Miss Beauty Queen Jewelry.
